About

About Sparrow Review:
In the summer of 2009, I created Sparrow Review to share my love for reading and to connect with others who were equally as book-obsessed. It is here that I rant about my obssession love for Shannon Hale's writing, Sarah Dessen's sa-wooooon-worthy boys, and my fascination with the Harry Potter series, in hopes that I am not alone.  I do hope you enjoy reading my thoughts and opinions on Young Adult Lit as much as I do writing them.

About Me:
I'm Cate, and I'm a high school senior in a small North Carolina town.  I've loved reading for as long as I can remember; I can still recall those days when I would spend days curled up with Little House on the Prarie. And although I may have grown out of Laura Ingalls Wilder, I have by no means stopped reading. My parents are still in awe of the number of books I bring home from the library, as well as my late fees. (I've told them there should be a wing of the library named after me, based solely on the amount of money I've had to hand over in fines.)

I also love to bake, play piano (not very well,) watch old Disney movies, drink hot tea, tap dance, recieve letters in the mail, take nature photographs, sink my toes into the sand, doodle, wrap- and unwrap!- presents, attend plays,  and make new friends.
